Some users are reporting the Sierra Chart website is down: https://www.sierrachart.com Since about 17:45 US Eastern time 2023-12-08. Never at any time was the Sierra Chart website down. We only updated the IP address for the DNS entry for it. The DNS entry, in the morning, had the TTL dropped to 10 minutes. Which means, that when using https://www.sierrachart.com , its entry in the DNS server you are accessing, will be updated in 10 minutes. If you still cannot access the Sierra Chart website it means your DNS server or cache is not updated when it should have. Try typing the following from your operating system command line: ipconfig /flushdns If this does not help, then go into the network adapter settings in the control panel on your computer, and specify a specific DNS server. Use 8.8.8.8. This is a Google DNS server. Never at any time was the Web server down. We are also going to make sure the Web server is accessible using its IP address. We will be working on that next week. There is no doubt, the DNS is going to update for you within 24 hours of the change. It should not take this long, and if it is, you need to look at the particular DNS server you are using because it is not running a compliant server.
