A big IF and prob a really bad idea, but will post anyway. If you wanted chart with just 1 day of candles, you could... put VbP on Left chart, make candles same color as chart background and ensure the VbP is not drawn under main chart. put similar chart on the Right link the 2 Vertical Scales. get something like the attached image. Again, prob a bad idea/approach, not very friendly for other tasks...but besides John's excellent ideas...something that could work for a very specific scenrio.
