We have determined the problem. It is not related to the FIX adapter.

The problem is you have symbol settings for ZN using the CME exchange. You need to perform a Full Reset of the symbol settings following the instructions here:

You must perform a full reset of the symbol settings when you change the exchange portion of the symbols to CBOT. This is something we need to clearly explain. The change which requires you to use the CBOT exchange for CBOT symbols, is only part of the prerelease and we still have been thinking about how best to handle this to make the transition as easy as possible.

Also, when I initiate a trade in a SC TradeDOM and the TradeDOM shows me as being short 1 contract; then, two seconds later the position information in the TradeDOM just goes POOF and disappears; then, there's something wrong with your software
This is not necessarily true. There are many server-side problems that can cause this.
