When you select "File >> New Instance" what exactly occurs? Also, after you do this and the new instance does not start, open the Message Log (Window >> Message Log) in the Main Instance and see if there are any messages at the bottom that relate to this. Please copy and paste those messages to this thread (or send us your entire log by selecting "Send for Analysis" at the top of the window - be sure to let us know you did this).
