The historical data problem is completely related to pacing violations. The main problem is you have set Sierra Chart to download too much historical data. The easiest solution is to update Sierra Chart with Help >> Download Prerelease. The newer versions use the Sierra Chart Historical Data service to download historical data. Refer to the notes for version 1141 here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/Whats_New.php Also no comment from you about using SC for data and IB for trading/orders..?? We did answer what you need to do for this. Refer to post #2. You can definitely use Sierra Chart data and trade with Interactive Brokers.
