Hi thank you for taking the time to reply. The longer the calculation period and complexity of the study, then granted the longer the calculation time. But when we are considering a single, simple study with a sub 100 bar lookback then it does not really impact on things especially given Sierra's language and todays computers. Obviously if it was Tick date and the lookback was extreme and the calculations complex, then that's a different story but in this instance I'm pretty sure the delay is the result of the initial chart's study monitoring the ACS user inputs. I can only assume the Toolbar only remains in focus for the first chart. Hence, the reason only one of the identical charts has the increased calculation time. After 12+ years using SC after starting with SuperCharts, I'm still amazed at its functionality, speed and ability. Maybe John or support will comment at some point. |
