My 2 cents... you are adding a lot of variability into these calculations with these many charts. In my experience, these values become more 'reliable' if you close out everything in the instance and just recalculate one study collection on one chart to truly decipher which study is long running. Calculation times also depend on the number of days/bars setting also so more data to look back will result in slower times.... which is not a good representative of individual study overall performance while processing at the tick level imo. Anyways, performance tuning of study collection and management is a complex process dependent on many factors so it is best to simplify and play around. I would also suggest to disconnect from the data feed, use only one or two days of data and tweak tuning on a master/primary installation of SC. p.s. These are just my own tips on how I handle my own studies. |
