To begin with, your Message Log is not going to give any information related to having an issue with an alert. You need to look at the Alert Log. Next, you need to work out the issue one step at a time. We recommend using the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" to test your Alert Condition, as it will give you information that you may not get from the Trading Algorithm, such as the price. Be sure to set the inputs correctly and use an item that marks the price level. Refer to the following: Color Bar Based on Alert Condition You mention that you want the alert only when the bar closes, so make sure you have the option for "Evaluate on Bar Close" enabled for the Alert Condition.
