Re your 2 posts, I am running the system with 8 Gb RAM and this has been sufficient thus far, despite TWS having a reputation as a bit of a RAM hog. I only noticed this problem after I did updates from SC924 to SC955 for 2 installed copies with multiple chartbooks, 1 with IB as the data service and the other with SC Historical Data. I know that was a big jump, but after I had the spreadsheet formula issue with the 924 update, I was hesitant to jump into more updates. Closing and saving the chartbooks one by one works fine, it is only when I close all, save all and then rapidly choose 'yes' to save succeeding spreadsheets that the problem occurs. Also, it does not occur every single time, so I am not surprised that you have not been able to replicate it. |
