We are not able to reproduce any issue with saving the defaults for a study, in particular for the Volume by Price study. We tried several different things to see if we could reproduce what you are stating, and we can not. Are you trying to use these "defaults" with a "Drawn Volume by Price"? If so, then how the Drawn Volume by Price studies get the settings to use is different.
