It is hard for us to say why this scenario can occur. It is possible there can be certain order configurations which could workaround the Maximum Allowed Position for automated trading. This would require in-depth debugging. You can also use the Symbol Settings for a Position Limit which uses a different method to control the limit, which is more comprehensive: Global Symbol Settings Refer to the Trade Position Limit symbol setting.
