Thanks John. For which bar type(s) can a max x% retracement in the bar be specified before printing a new bar (analogous to ZZ retracements) even if the retrace needs to be specified in ticks? Example: a 20-tick bar with a max 4 tick retrace would accommodate a 20% counter move within the bar before printing a new bar in the same direction. If the retrace exceeds 20% at any time, a new bar begins to form against the direction of the original. I hope this is clear, thanks |
