@gcUserStudies Thank you very much! Worked!
May I ask: what does >>>> IMPORTANT! "Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics" must be disabled for this study to work.>> - refer to? I don't even know if it is enabled in my case or not? Is it enabled by default? what is it used for? According to Sierra Chart, OpenGL is not supported for ACSIL and it is not currently planned. Means we don't have it - right? so no action required. Am i right? In Sierra Chart if you go to "Global Settings->Graphic Settings - Global->Other" you will see at the bottom right an option for "Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics" If this is 'checked' for the instance you want to use the Forex Factory study, then the study will check for this option and put up the warning if it's enabled. So if you are not running OpenGL, nothing to worry about. It's mainly to help show why the study isn't working. In the past there wasn't a way to check for OpenGL being enabled and studies that relied on GDI would just not show up at all and cause confusion as to why they were not working. If you really want to or need to use OpenGL, a work around is to run a second instance of Sierra Chart and on that instance, disable OpenGL and run the study there. |
