nicktrader, You certainly can trade from any sub instance, as long as its settings are correct. Another suggestion: Go to the main instance folder and delete all the sub instances folders (save the data folders before deleting, if that data is different from the data you have in the main instance data folder). Then open the main instance, go to "File" and click "New instance". This action will create a complete new sub instance with the same settings as the main instance. Then try it out with your live account. If it works well, restore the data folder previous saved in order to have your previous saved chartbooks and other files you might need. If you have more than one main instance in your computer, don't forget to make sure there is no duplication of the numbers attributed to the "Listening Port" and "Historical Data Port" on "Sierra Chart Server Settings" / "DTC Protocol Server".
