And if you look at a Historical Daily chart for SPY, in Sierra Chart, for May 2, you can see that the official volume is 104,000,000 (Rounded up). But this is the official volume, not what is calculated from intraday trading activity. The issue you are describing is something you are going to see each and every single day during the trading day. You will see significantly lower volumes compared to the official volume at the end of the day. At least we think so based upon what we observe now but that does not mean there is a problem.
