Post From: RDS for multi-user access

greetings,

i have a client who is interested in deploying Sierra Chart on a hosted RDS environment for multi-user access.
they are considering this as part of their DR and BCP strategy as it will permit them to login from a variety of devices in the event of equipment failure.

i did see an old post recommending RDS for Linux users, but I was unable to determine if this was for a single-user or multi-user environment.

in this instance, the RDS would be licensed for multiple concurrent users.

is this a supported environment for Sierra Chart?

is the product installed as Admin once and then shared by the users? or do they each need to run their own private install of Sierra Chart?

how is the licensing handled in this scenario?

also as a query in relation to licensing - if we have a user leave the group and another person steps in to replace them, how is the licensing handled?

many thanks in advance,

cheers, Wizdude.
