You can not setup keyboard shortcuts to single keys - such as the 'E' key. As this is a standard input for the letter 'E'. Make sure the keyboard shortcuts you are using are either special keys, or have a modifier (shift, ctrl, alt). The information showing at the top of the chart is correct functioning.
