What do you mean by "the drop down menus work but none of the buttons operate"?

Are the menu items all "grayed out" where you can not select them, or are the shown normally, but selecting one does not do anything?

Or is there something else going on?

If the menus are all greyed out and you can not select anything, then this would be an operating system issue where your computer can not keep up with the windows. You will need to exit Sierra Chart and reboot your system and make sure that you are running minimal other programs when you run Sierra Chart.
