Offhand it sounds like a Custom Study that you have in your Data folder is causing a problem when the system goes to get the information from those studies (when you select Add Custom Study, the program opens each DLL file to find the names of the studies). The first thing to do is to move any custom studies out of the Data folder and see if you have the same issue when you select Add Custom Study. If the program does not shut down, then you will need to figure out which custom study causes the problem by adding them back - one at a time and retrying Add Custom Study until it crashes again. Then you will need to figure out what is wrong with that particular DLL. It may just need to be recompiled.
