Hello, I'm interested in reducing DOM update intervals to 50 milliseconds to feel more like Jigsaw.I have 6 DOMS on a stand alone instance. I have an I9-13900k intel processor (24 cores). I want to know the maximum core percentage to guage in the task manager. I can't find it online and hoped you know the Maximum core percentage of each core? Just want to know if 50 milliseconds is doable. "You will know if the Chart Update Interval setting is too fast if the CPU usage of Sierra Chart, as reported in the system Task Manager, is near to the limit of a single core. For example, if your system has 8 cores, the maximum core percentage will be 12.5 percent as reported in the Task Manager. If you see the Sierra Chart process at the maximum or higher percentage for a single core, then it is presenting the maximum load to the CPU. Although Sierra Chart does use multiple threads, so you can see at certain times, a percentage which is higher than what a single core will use. Most of the time this will not be the case though." thank you, thaddeus |
