We also had numerous reports yesterday of CQG users not able to cancel orders on CQG. Apparently this went on for hours? This kind of problem cannot happen with Teton order routing due to its design. Teton uses a single unified process handling order management, risk management and order routing on a single server with no external dependencies with backup Internet immediately available and backup server immediately available with real-time copy of all trading data. The server software which is Sierra Chart itself optimized for a server role is perfectly stable, extensively used and well tested. We do not see how a problem like this could ever occur with Teton. When we see problems like this with others like CQG, it really is 100% clear to us, that Teton uses a far more simpler architecture that is completely reliable and what the others are using is susceptible to problems like these. Why use CQG for CME Group trading? Makes no sense. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
