The Large Volume Trade Indicator filters on each trade. So only those trades that above the threshold are counted. It does not work by looking at the sum of the trades at a particular level and then checking that against the threshold. This is why you are not seeing a marker for a volume of 1700, even with a threshold of 1000 - it means that of the individual trades that make up the 1700, none of them were 1000 or larger.
