Offhand we would recommend having the Volume Bars in a separate region. Refer to the following:
Working With Charts: Chart Window and Regions

But, if you really want to have the volume in the same region as the Main Price Graph, then in order to change the height, you will need to set the scale of the Volume study to Independent and enable the option for Use in Left Side Scale. Refer to the following:
Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Independent (Scale Range)
Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Use In Left Side Scale

As noted in the documentation for Use in Left Side Scale, you will then need to add the left-side scale to the chart by setting the option for Chart >> Chart Settings >> Scale >> Use Left Side Scale to Yes. You can then adjust the height of the scale on the left side to change the volume bars.

To add the Moving Average to the Volume, you will need to add one of the Moving Average studies to the chart. There are a number to select from, depending on what kind of Moving Average you want.

This is part of the reason we suggest using a Separate region for the Volume, however, as you will not be able to get the Moving Average aligned with the volume if all of these are in Region 1. You really need to have the Volume in Region 2 along with the Moving Average for the volume. This way they can both be set to Automatic scaling and the data will be aligned.
