There is no option to not allow a drawing to occur on a chart. If you are unable to actually draw anything on the chart, then the only thing we can think is that you may have a study that is coloring the background and the drawings are set to draw underneath the other data, therefore making it look like they are not drawn. First, try to draw a line by placing a first and second point and then check your Tools >> Manage Chart Drawings Window and look through the list of drawings in there for the most recently drawn line. It definitely should be there. If the drawing is in the list, then you need to figure out why it is not displaying. Refer to the following two settings starting at the following: Chart Settings: Draw Highlight Drawings Underneath Main Graph and Studies (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Drawings menu) If the drawing is not in the list, then let us know. If, by chance, you are only referring to an inability to edit drawings from another chart, then refer to the following setting: Chart Settings: Allow Modification of Chart Drawings from Other Charts (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Drawing menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
