I am trying to create a custom symbol that would include four symbols total. I'd like to get up volume for the NYSE and the NASDAQ and then subtract the down volume from the NYSE and the Nasdaq. It would look something like this: ({uvol-nyse}+{uvol-nasdaq})-({dvol-nyse}+{dvol-nasdaq}) However, it seems that once I introduce parenthesis it does not work in that I cannot download any historical data. I've walked through the steps outlined in the "Resolving Missing Historical Data Issue" section, however it does not seem to work. If I remove the parenthesis it works fine, however the calculation is incorrect when done that way. |
