You are not quite understanding how the Chart Settings work. The first thing to understand is that when you download data for a symbol the very first time, it is going to use the setting for the "Max Historical Intraday Days to Load". Once data is already downloaded, then the system is going to use the Number of Days, or the Date Range to show the data and also download any additional data if necessary.
