Hi John (and FYI for User987069) - This is one of my utmost primary reasons I am moving to Teton order routing service this week... "All Trade >> Trade Account Monitor fields are supported and are continuously updated in real time. Accurate account balance field which immediately updates when trades are closed. Continuously updating Net Liquidating Value (Account Value) field. Among all of the Trading services supported by Sierra Chart, only Teton has support for all of the Trade Account Monitor fields and updates those fields the fastest." I must also say that this was the primary reason why I blew up several accounts back in 2018/19 with AMP/CQG. Being new to futures, it was very hard for me to not see real time account updates (I almost quit futures trading because of this). I just do not understand how folks can trade without realtime updates to account balance. How do they mitigate risk against margin calls etc? Very hard to do for automated algo traders if we don't have access to a 100% reflection of account balance (with commission/fees deducted after each order fill in real time). I must also add that I wish you could add realtime account balance updates to market replay in simulation mode. All my strategies look great in activity log but I HAVE to do further analysis on equity curve in Excel for each backtest to confirm how much my account went into negative balance from my starting trading capital... very crucial analysis to do and also very time consuming effort for algo traders.
