It can be done, but you have to be very careful. The basic idea is to open the Quote Spreadsheet first and save that chartbook (when you save the Chartbook, the system will ask to save the Spreadsheet) and then you will use that Spreadsheet with a different sheet, to get the data for the MACD. The following link gives the instructions for how to open multiple sheets that reference different charts. You want to start by opening and saving the Quote Board for Spreadsheet and then adding the Spreadsheet Study. But you can not do those functions within the Spreadsheet, you need to create a custom study.
