As you know from previous messages I now have a lot of charts with tick data that go back years(because now at these low levels that's where the new levels from old prices come). Anyway, it now takes forever(say 5-10min) in the morning to load up the chartbooks when I restart for the day. Is that just a function of all the data loading? I would have thought once it was loaded it was there, but I guess not. Also, you know I have a very zippy high-powered computer(Leo from OFL created specs for Dell) so it's not that, nor my internet as I have 500-1000mg fibre. Also, the same thing happens when the computer goes to sleep(say I take the dog for a walk and it goes to sleep after 15min of no use) when I call it back up the hourglass comes on and it takes 5min to reload. So is all that normal because I have such heavy heavy charts? Any suggestions? The thing is I use the charts all the time so I have to have them up.
