The idea behind "Enable Delete Selected Drawing with Right Click" is that you would use this in combination with the "Support Left Click to select Chart Drawings". This way, you would left click to select and then right click to delete. But, in working with this to to what you are experiencing, we found that the setting for Keep Chart Drawing Selected After Modification has an impact on how the Right Click works with respect to the delete. Such that if this open is set to Yes, then when you right-click and right-click again it will delete the drawing.
