The answer to your first question is that it should work the same. There is no reason for it to be different. Given the above, the logical conclusion is that something is different in the setup when you switch to the Trading Evaluator. Please give us a screenshot of what you see when you are using the Trading Evaluator and it is not scaling in as you expect.
