You should contact the exchange about this. If the data is from the CME you can ask the CME this question. Everything sounds fine except for this: 3- uploading the Data used in the research in a public database (could be avoided)
However, publishing a very small sample set of data should be fine. Especially if it is in an image format and cannot be converted back to text.
