Hello I have been reading around and am referencing a situation similar to what was discussed in this thread: Second trade entry logic ERROR! I have seen multiple times the statement made of: "The Rithmic system, your brokers accounting, futures exchanges and Sierra Chart simply do not match fills with regards to the association between parent order and its child orders. They would use either LIFO or FIFO. One or the other. This is time based matching." Let's proceed accepting the above as fact and true. I am able to accomplish what I desire if I am able to designate for SC to utilize LIFO or FIFO based upon an order type. So for example if the order is a STOP order, I want to designate FIFO for any STOP orders that will be filled and LIFO for any LIMIT orders that will be filled. Is the above doable? I am aware I can toggle LIFO/FIFO in Chart-->Chart Settings--> Trading. I interface with SC using custom studies, so the desire would be to specify for each order whether it should be completed following the LIFO or FIFO logic. This designation could be made when the order is originally placed, specifying that the STOP order should be filled using LIFO and the LIMIT order should be filled using FIFO. Is this doable? |
