To what I understand, there was not so much a problem with Sierra Chart, but with the implementation of OpenGL in AMD software?drivers?. I found articles that said AMD is working on this to get a better standard there, and this "optional" driver is apparently a version that contains newer OpenGL implementation. I have so far not found any issues. There might be a bit high usage of the grafics card when scrolling through a Footprint/Numbers Bars, but I cannot really compare it to a NVIDIA system, so this is just an indication. I'd suggest to try these newer drivers your self and see if it works. |
