Yes, this could definitely affect your data. Again, Sierra Chart is not setup to handle the situation of having 2 installations accessing the same files. There is no issue with getting data to two different installations on the same computer (you can have up to 3 on the same computer). We would recommend just doing this. But, you could setup your second installation to get the data from the first. The second will still have its own files, so you will not save any disk space. You would only save on bandwidth to download the data.
