I would urge you to delay the replay of all charts until the data is loaded in all of the charts.
Sorry to hijack this thread, but I would also like this to be the case.Currently, the replay starts when the initiating chart loads, with the other charts still loading. If there are overlays that formulas rely on, they are not synced until all charts are loaded. The only workaround is to start the replay much earlier than desired, guessing how long it takes the other charts to load. If the difference in the bar periods of the charts is great, it might not even be possible to start the replay early enough. Even if the replay is started early enough, it might take erroneous trades until the charts sync, invalidating the backtest accuracy. |
