At this time Sierra Chart has discontinued support for Gain Capital, Transact and CTS in newer versions of Sierra Chart. This is part of phasing out services which we do not want to support for various reasons. These reasons include not wanting to support so many different services which make support difficult for Sierra Chart and results in poor quality of service to users. Removing support for substandard services. Removing support for services which are minimally used. Cleaning up the Sierra Chart code base. And focusing on our own services so that we can provide the best quality and lowest cost services to our users. If you are Transact user, no later than the end of December 2022, we will be discontinuing support for Transact completely and it will no longer be possible to use Transact with Sierra Chart. Effective as of August 1, 2022, if you are using Sierra Chart with Gain Capital or Transact or CTS, and then you move to or begin to use Teton order routing and you are not already using Teton order routing, we will give you 3 months free of Sierra Chart at Service Package 10, 11 or 12 depending upon what Service Package you are currently using. Information about Teton Order Routing: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing If you have a need to trade EUREX or ICE, then you will need to use Rithmic, CQG or Interactive Brokers for those particular markets. You can still use Teton Order Routing for CME Group and this is what we recommend. So this offer applies to users who will be trading CME Group. If you are trading only EUREX, or other exchanges, then you cannot take advantage of this offer. This offer can change at any time. Best to take advantage of it as soon as possible. If you have questions, just let us know in this thread. If you want to take advantage of this offer, let us know when you begin to use Teton Order Routing and tell us which broker you are using Teton Order Routing through and your account number. We will check with the broker to confirm and then we will add three months of usage time to your Sierra Chart account. If you need help with any of the above, start a Support Ticket: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=SupportTickets ---- If you are with Transact, support for historical Intraday data through a system provided specifically for Transact users, will be ending around the end of August 2022. More information: Information for Transact Users for Versions 2354 and Higher | Post: 315898 You will need to use the Denali Data Feed at that time. We will help you get set up with that data feed. Simply request help from us, by starting a support ticket: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=SupportTickets ---- For Transact users we are going to do the following at the beginning of September 2022: 1. If a Sierra Chart user is using the Transact service, then we are going to change your Service Package to 10 or 11 depending upon whether you are using 3 or 5 respectively. There will be no cost for this Service Package change. 2. We will activate the CME Group top of book exchange on your account. Normally there is a free trial for this for the first month. If there is a cost we will cover this cost. The normal fee for this is 3.50USD/month. You will then be using the Denali Exchange Data Feed with no dependency upon Transact data and will have reliable comprehensive market data for Sierra Chart. 3. We will need Transact users to complete the CME market data agreements here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeAgreements ---- Date: 2022-09-01: Since now Transact themselves have discontinued support abruptly for Sierra Chart, what we have done at this time for Transact users who are running Versions 2429 or earlier, is your installation of Sierra Chart will be automatically updated when it is started. When you start Sierra Chart you will get a prompt that says: "The installer program has been downloaded. Sierra Chart needs to be closed. Press 'Yes' to close the program or 'No' to not continue with the update." Click on Yes. And the installer will be run. Press the Install button on the installer and follow through the prompts to go through the installation process. After the installation is complete Sierra Chart will be automatically started. If not use the Sierra Chart shortcut on your desktop to start Sierra Chart. If you need any help, just simply start a Support Request on this board and we will help you. Link to start a support request: https://www.sierrachart.com/SupportBoard.php?do=NewThread&ForumID=0 Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selective Service still needs to be set to "Transact WS" in newer versions of Sierra Chart. Newer versions of Sierra Chart support market data from our Denali Data Feed and delayed feeds and not trading with Transact. We will post a webinar, as soon as possible about where to go from here. The reason we are forcing an update is because older versions can no longer be used with Transact and there is no reason to be running an older version and you need to be running a newer version for a seamless transition away from Transact. After the update, you will begin to receive real-time data from our Denali Data Feed for the entire CME Group. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
