It's a tradeoff that you will have to determine what works best for you.

When you have a low Chart Update Interval, then you will have the studies being recalculated much more often, which then creates more load on the system, which could then create an overall slowdown in your system. This is why, in general, we recommend only using a low Chart Update Interval on Trading DOMs, as they have very few studies on them, if any.

Again, it's very dependent on the individual situation, so if you are fine with what you have, then there is no reason to change it. But if you start adding studies and find that things are slowing down, you may need to lower your Chart Update Interval in order to get things working properly again.
