Hi, I am trading range bar tick charts. Signals are generated on bar close and I send a market order right after I have set Chart update interval = 20 ms, get CPU load about 15% which is great and my custom study calc time is about 110 ms. The study helps me send market order upon signal is created - kind of "semi-auto" trading. My question is you did not recommend so low setting but range bar chart can be pretty fast once market opens 8.30 and I really do not want to lose on slow chart updating which would create unnecessary slippage. Can you comment on that how to achieve best results with this? When volatility is low it is not usually an issue but with fast markets each additional time 'ms' delay generated by high update time could create additional cost Thank you Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-07-01 15:35:04
