From the image you provided, the data was still downloading. You can tell by the message on the screen that states Downloading Continuous Contract Data. Depending on how many days of data you have set to load, it could take several to many minutes to download all the data. Start by setting the number of days to download to a small number like 5, and see if you get the chart coming up in a reasonable time (5 minutes at most). And make sure you do not have any other charts trying to download at the same time, as that will create a bottleneck and you can not guarantee that the data you want for a particular chart will come in first.
