One important difference between the Denali Data Feed and CQG is the Denali Data Feed provides data for historical futures contracts. CQG does not. The data for expired contracts is missing and then has to be downloaded. All that data has to be downloaded and can take some time. Once it is downloaded it will not be done again. When you reconnect to the data feed, there may not be any further attempt to download historical data for expired futures contracts. It depends. There are certain conditions which control this. We would have to examine the code to look at the conditions. However the links we gave above, certainly are going to help with improving overall performance.
