Sorry, we missed a couple of words in the original post (which we have corrected). What you are seeing is how the historical data from CQG comes into the system. If you want to have the Bid/Ask data from the CQG data feed, then yes, you would need to keep your computer on 24 hours a day (or at least, the times when the markets you are wanting data from are open). The only solution to this issue with the CQG data is to use our Denali Exchange Data Feed which has tick-by-tick historical data going back to 2011 for the CME Group (for example).
