You should be able to use a line as you state, but you do not need to do that. Just add an Alert to the study itself where your formula would look like the following: =OR(ID1.SG1 > 1000, ID1.SG1 < -1000) Where ID1.SG1 is the Study ID and Subgraph Number of the Summation Study you are using.
