Why are templates such a bad idea then? In fact, Sierra Chart all ready has embraced the general concept. (tool config, study collections). It is just inconsistent to not take the idea further. I want to quickly switch between: - CandleSticks / TPO - Candlesticks / RenkoBars - BarCharts / Candlesticks - Black/White background (dark at night, white during the day) I'm arguing a fine point here, that seems to get lost in the discussion. I am not asking for "gradients". I'm asking to expand the template system to include everything except the symbol. Chart Settings, Color Layout, Study Settings, everything. At some level, Sierra Chart does all ready accept the fact that templates are a good idea. If they were not, we should drop the "study collection" and the "tool config" features. Real templates, would open-up a bunch of opportunities and increase ease-of-use. |
