There is not a good solution for what you are trying to do. Your idea of having the study IDs starting at a large number is good one. The only thing we can think, which you may have already thought of, would be to add some study you do not care about 100 times, and then start adding the studies you want after that so start at number 101 and then remove the initial 100 after you are complete.
