@54 Yes, hardware and setup impact performance, but it's irrelevant to the question: is it fast enough? If it's fast enough, there is nothing to worry about it. Is it not fast enough, then go and get speedier hardware. That's the most straightforward solution for the majority of users. If you think about/require tuning your Kernel or network stack, you invest in the wrong area. It's a waste of time and resources. Traders do not want to do that. They want to trade, not tune an OS.
