Would you reconsider now, with Micros becoming so popular giving much more flexibility of position sizing, $'s and Ticks are less useful now. With these finer position sizing abilities, tracking by %'s long term would be a superior way for trader's to better manage risk, increment gains, and continually compound to build accounts.
