Sometimes click to cancel works, sometimes it does not and the entire Sierra Chart does lock up for a long time and needs to be terminated
Are you certain that the entire Sierra Chart is locked up in this case? Keep in mind that when you click Cancel in this case the chart will stop loading, so the chart will be blank. So it can appear that you can not interact with the program, but you should be able to change charts or chartbooks and select menus. Let us know if you are definitely not able to interact at all after you Cancel loading a chart.
