Our apologies, we thought this had been answered. In terms of stopping a loading chart, when you see the black and white notice of Loading, it states on there "Click to Cancel". If you click on that notice it will stop the loading and the chart will be blank. You can make whatever changes you need from there and when you apply those changes the chart should reload. If it does not, for whatever reason, you can reload the chart by selecting "Chart >> Reload and Recalculate". Your entire Sierra Chart should not be locked up while it is loading a chart. Although the interactions may not be fluid, you should be able to change charts and do some other work while it is loading. Please double check this.
