The only way to add separation is to increase the Bar Spacing. Therefore, you have us confused when you state that increasing the bar spacing is not working. Can you please increase the spacing and then take another image so we can see what is occurring. Another option would be to change your Volume by Price profiles to have the Input for Right Align Volume Bars to Yes. This will reverse the position of the volumes, which may make them easier to read.
